Ten years ago, in a quiet patch of Lanzarote’s countryside, we built our very first unique cabin. We called it “Secret Garden” — not because there were plants everywhere yet, but because we hoped it would become a place for things to grow: roots, ideas, connections, and eventually, something beautiful.
What started as a humble and rural space built with care, hope, and trial and error which became the foundations of a shared journey towards our nature retreat in Lanzarote. This journey was not just for us, but for every guest who stepped inside.

We had no grand plan. Instead, we had a desire to create something simple, welcoming, and honest. The “Secret Garden” cabin was basic at first, but it was filled with intention. As guests began to arrive from Spain and across Europe, something changed. Conversations happened. Feedback shaped improvements. Friendships began. And slowly, a bigger picture started to take form.
Together, with every traveller who stayed, we learnt and evolved in more ways than one.

Every space was built with what we had at the time: reclaimed materials, local inspiration, and the memory of what guests told us they loved. Some cabins feel cosy and secluded. Others are open and breezy. But all are created with soul and designed to meet different needs without losing their shared spirit.
This project became a collaboration between us, the land, and our guests. Together, we shaped the essence of our nature retreat.

We’ve shared morning coffee in the garden, swapped stories with artists and teachers, couples and solo travellers, parents and digital nomads. We’ve watched new friendships form over long dinners. We have also seen guests return — sometimes years later — to find new corners added, but the feeling unchanged.
Every cabin, every tree, every quiet corner of this place carries the imprint of someone who helped us shape it.
