Casa Tabaiba is more than a rental—it’s a home, lovingly shared. Our two resident cats are part of the soul of the place and are free to access the terrace and garden. They’re calm, curious, and often loved by our guests. Indoors, their presence is optional—just keep the cat door closed if you prefer not to host them.
⚠️ Please note: If you are not comfortable sharing your space with animals, this may not be the ideal listing for you. We ask that guests respect the animals’ access to the terrace, as this is their home too.

There is on-site parking, but do note: there are no streetlights or pavements. This is a place to slow down and listen to nature.

what are the rates?
The rate is €80 per night, plus a one-time €35 cleaning fee per stay.
what is the cancelation policy?
Cancelations up to 14 days before arrival are refundable up to 50%.
Cancelation less than 14 days before arrival are non-refundable.
Bookings must be paid in full to be considered confirmed bookings.

Welcome to Casa Tabaiba, a cosy retreat surrounded by volcanoes and the sea in northern Lanzarote, located in a quiet, nature-filled setting. It runs entirely on solar energy and has been designed to offer a comfortable, sustainable experience in full connection with the volcanic landscape and the ocean.
Important Information Before Booking:
Since 2017, we have hosted hundreds of happy guests, always prioritizing their well-being. To ensure Casa Tabaiba is the right place for you, here are some key points:
Cosy and Functional Space: The house has an open-plan design and includes a small fully equipped kitchen, a table for two, a sofa, a double bed, dressers for clothes, and a full bathroom. You will also enjoy a large covered and private terrace.
Peaceful Location: We are immersed in nature, just 1 km from the nearest village and the coast. Here you will find hiking trails to explore, local markets, and charming restaurants.
Solar Energy: All the energy comes from the sun. Therefore, high-consumption devices such as hair dryers, straighteners, toasters, as well as electric bikes or cars, are not allowed. You can charge phones, laptops, and cameras without any problem.
Hot Water: The shower works with solar energy. To enjoy hot water, we recommend showering between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. On cloudy days, the water may be lukewarm or cold.
Pets and Coexistence: We have two cats living in the house who are part of this home. They may enter the house if the doors are open and often climb on the furniture. It is not allowed to shoo them away or block their access to the terrace, as this has been their space for years. If you notice fleas or other issues, please notify us immediately so we can address it quickly. If you are not used to living with pets, this house may not be ideal for you.
Privacy and Access: We reserve the right of way for occasional maintenance access if needed. This happens very rarely and always with respect for your privacy.
Ecological Commitment: Besides solar energy, we reuse water from the bathroom and kitchen to irrigate the garden, living in harmony with the surrounding nature.
